Oxford Nanopore Lab

Oxford Nanopore Technologies is an innovative research facility working on DNA/RNA sequencing technology. The DNA/RNA sequence data is used widely in scientific research as well as in several applied markets. Clean rooms are controlled environments, providing the secure, sterile environments that are vital for research and product development.

This project was the construction of ISO 4 and 5 Clean Rooms. The installation was stainless steel with Grade 6.0 purity gases, including nitrogen, helium, argon, oxygen, and CDA.

Key project features:

  • The gases were fed from Gas-Arc Chem-Master automatic manifolds
  • Additional PALL ultra filters were used on the gas lines
  • The manifolds and compressed air plant were monitored by a Shire Controls plant alarm system
  • Gas-Arc Chem-Master outlets were used for the point of use outlets.

This 4-month fit out contract was completed on time and to budget.
