Roses Medical started its journey back in 2007.
Trevor Cook, Managing Director, started his career in Civil Engineering before moving into the Medical Gases industry in 1992. He worked for East Healthcare, Penlon, MIM and TPS, before creating Roses Medical. Ian Crookes is the Contracts Manager at Roses Medical. Trevor and Ian have been working together in this industry for the last 28 years and bring deep industry expertise to your projects.
From the outset, our approach has been different to others. We are a small company and as such our service is friendly, very dedicated and personalised. We are flexible and innovative, solving your project’s needs – whether it be in a hospital, a university lab, a pharmaceutical research facility or even an aircraft carrier. We won’t sell you extras that your project doesn’t need. We don’t believe in waste. We do believe in cost-effective solutions and offering excellent value for money.
We partner with our clients and other contractors to deliver a range of medical gas works. Our partnerships are strong and long-lasting. We have been serving QE Birmingham Hospital, Sheffield Teaching Hospital and Kettering General Hospital since we formed Roses Medical in 2007.
Our portfolio of clients is largely focused in our priority working regions of Yorkshire, Lancashire, East and West Midlands, but we are happy to consider projects in other regions as well, so please do get in touch.

Medical Roses Ltd founded by Trevor Cook in 2007
In 2008 Ian Crookes joined, bringing with him more than 25 years experience in the medical gas industry
We delivered our first major overseas project, in Les Ulis, near Paris for GlaxoSmithKline
In 2011 we reached a major milestone with the completion of the new Queen Elizabeth Birmingham Hospital. This was a major PFI project of 4 years (include pic from Birmingham)
Patrick O’Leary joined the Roses Medical team from NG Bailey in 2017, willing to learn and bring new blood into the company
In 2020, the Roses Medical team delivered medical gas systems for 500 bed field hospital, NHS Nightingale North East and the Humber, in just 24 days, in support of the nationwide response to Covid-19
